Don’t worry if you can’t pronounce it, I couldn’t when we started dating either! We met while working at a wedding over fifteen years ago. Walter was shooting video and I photos, clearly our partnership seemed to be predestined from the start. Now all these years later we are still shooting weddings together, but as husband and wife.
Solaris {ˈsōl-ar-is} of the Sun
Photo and film is all about the light or the sun. It's about capturing how that ray of sunlight seems to just graze the edge of your veil, or stream through the space between your two faces right before a gentle kiss. How light streaming in a window cuts across the floor during your first dance. The golden afternoon sun dancing through the field as you walk hand in hand. These are the moments, the memories that excite us to capture. This is what we see as our Solaris.
